Savepoint/Checkpoint support?

I am looking into writing a GORM driver for SurrealDB because my app is written in Go and I want to use SurrealDB :)

Among the features of GORM aside of Migrations and friends is this: https://gorm.io/docs/write_driver.html#Nested-Transaction-Support

I know that transactions are supported, but to what extend?
