Auto reply ?

Hey guys

I know there is no native "auto reply" feature in stalwart, but there is some kind of vacation feature ? But how on earth to use it ? I tried with some sieve scripts, but tbh I never gotten any sieve scripts to work via the UI.

I need to have an auto reply on a specific email, it's very important that there is an auto reply. There is a few references to "vacation" in the manual, but its very lacking any actual info on how to use It, or at least I dont understand it, and chatgpt does not understand how to do it as well

So is there anyone that can direct me in the right direction to get an auto reply / vacation setup ?

I managed to setup a roundcube, and control sieve that way. But it's not really working. Only to domains that already have mailboxes on the same server.

So domain A.com and B.com are located on the same stalwart server. Auto reply works.
But if domain C.com sends an email, no auto reply is ever sent

Its been tested in 6 different accounts hosted in various places, none receive the auto reply unless they have an account on the same server

In Stalwart, auto-reply can be done using a Sieve script. Or, if you are using a JMAP client, this is simplified with the VacationResponse extension.

Regarding the delivery issues you're describing, I suggest you change the log level to debug or trace and then check your logs after sending an email to the autoresponder/
