We ask you read SECURITY in its entirety which should be presented to you on first startup of Retronas and advises what you are asking is considered unsupported. The Mister shared folders use Samba so yes while it is possible we advise you don't do this. If you really want to do this you can search for "samba shares over the internet" to learn why no-one recommends use of samba over high latency networks and what port to forward (microsoft-ds/samba2) if you really want to do this. |

Hello.
I just found out about RetroNAS and I'm setting it up on my Pi 4B 4GB edition. I wanted to ask if anyone can tell me if it is possible to access my roms not only remotely over my LAN but over the Internet as well? If so, what ports requiring forwarding so that when my Mister attempts to connect to the rom folders on RetroNAS, the ports will properly forward the requests to the IP attached to RetroNAS.
Any help or advice is appreciated.
Thanks,
John
