This configuration would be completely unsupported/untested so you'd have to try it and find out and perhaps do a write up of your experiences. RetroNAS is a bunch of installers for different things targeting RPI/Debian12. Not everything will work in containers but the services you have mentioned use the standard samba offering. Providing you can map the standard samba ports through to the container and the container is based on debian12 with access to install requirements it may manage to work. |

As I'm planning on running a Cockpit LXC within Proxmox (shout-outs to Proxmox Community Scripts) as my main NAS interface, would it work out if I install RetroNAS' packages on the Cockpit LXC for tighter integration of my services, or am I going to need to separate things out more? The main usage cases would be network-based storage for my MiSTer and also a dedicated share for my PS2 via OPL.
