Hello. Could you tell me please about pymorphy3? We use this package in our project. I saw it wasn't updated since September. And the second question is about this package: can we use pymorphy2 instead of pymorphy3, or this package has another name in PyPi?

Hello, I don't have direct contact with pymorphy3 team, and I have no idea if they are planning to continue to support their project. Sure, you can use pymorphy3, but for Python 3.12 you need to install setuptools dependency.

As for pymorphy2-fork, it hasn't yet been deployed to pypi.org yet, unfortunately. I have a full time job, I have another large hobby project, and other interests, so I only return to this project from time to time. I planned the release on pypi.org to October 2023, now it's delayed to 2024.

pymorphy2 on pypi.org is a parent project, which hasn't been updated for several years (from 2020).

pymorphy2, pymorphy3 (and pymorphy2-fork in the future) are more or less interchangeable, but pymorphy3 has a bit different dictionary format, and they have their own dictionaries on pypi.org. For pymorphy2-fork I'll try to support old pymorphy2 format of dictionaries.

This is not a problem, I'll configure it myself. But before it, I need to update and publish dictionaries, I still need to figure out how to do it. But, anyway, I'll eventually get to it.
