Pull docker image from own azure registry by API

Use Case (delete as appropriate): Using Portainer on multiple devices and I want to update the docker image on each device by a python script, using Portainer API

Question:
Portainer-CE 2.18.4
I was not able to find an endpoint where I can automate the process you can do in the UI (Pulling images in a simple mode)

Is it possible to trigger a download of a docker image from custom registry from the API? (Registry is already created and I'm able to pull the image manually in the UI)
