Portainer not recognising new passwords

Having opened the admin page for my Asustor NAS, I saw there were updates for both Docker and Portainer. I updated both. My LMS (Lyrion) container didn’t start, so I tried to get into Portainer to manually start it. It refused my old password, so I went through the process of creating a new one, which appeared to work correctly. It refused that too. I’ve tried three times without success.

How can I get round this? Do I have to re-install Portainer?

PS: I have now been able to SSH into the NAS and manually start the LMS container.

PSS: Having come back to it an hour later, it accepted the password and let me in. Very strange.

Using Docker (Asustor) 27.1.1.r5, and PortainerCE (Asustor) 2.27.7.r02

@ianhaynes So this is working now and you are able to login to Portainer?

Yes it is now working but I was effectively locked out of Portainer for a couple of hours, which was worrying at the time. As noted, I tried resetting the password three times without it working, and it was only having left it for an hour or so and then tried again, that it let me in.

Sounds like it was possibly browser cache causing an issue here. Glad it's resolved.
