Docker instance won't auto-redeploy with changes to git repository

I have used polling and a webhook to try to deploy the changes I have in my git repository. I have made changes to the docker-compose file as well to see if that specifically needed to be changed. I tried a simple form submission with the webhook as well. I'm not really seeing any resources that can help me with this. I searched the docs and support and didn't see anything conclusive. Hopefully, there's something I'm overlooking.

I have polling setup every 5m and it's pointing to my GitHub repository. I have pushed changes to that repository and have even changed my docker-compose file as well, and I would assume with all of that, Portainer would look at those changes and redeploy the website reflecting those changes. But that isn't happening. My website hasn't been updated and I believe that I've read that manually Pulling and Redeploying doesn't reflect those changes either, as I've seen. I have also created a manual way to update, that I've seen on YouTube from Portainer, where you create a form with an action that on submission, sends something to the webhook address to redeploy the website.
