Uploud folders are not created

Hello,
When using the fields picture or cropper, no folders are created during the upload.
If the folders already exist, the images are written to the folders.
I developed the site on windows and then copied it to a Linux server. On windows it worked,
The folder public/storage/ has full write permissions.

I have found the solution.
After copying the page to the live system, I had to set new the symlink for the upload folder.
