a better compose example

i was really excited to try out open cloud but i hit a wall with deploying it. the compose example from the docs is "unintuitive" to say the least, and a bit too opinionated, can't we get a more detailed explanation of the structure of a production ready deployment, an overview of what services are needed ...etc, so i could at least customize my own deployment according to mu needs, for starters i already have my homelab setup with traefik and minio and even onlyoffice, i want to be able to use those pre-existing services if possible .. etc . i could probably mess around with the examples dir until i get a working setup but it will be like having a ticking time bomb. please !

I also played around a bit at the weekend. But mostly there were errors during installation. The configuration file is a bit complicated for a beginner. But I think something will be added to make it easier to install. Regards, Daniel

Not relevent to this, the author wants a testing container and there isn't much explained about how/what to do for a production deployment

The web-extensions images are supposed to work as OCI images. There should also be an extensions service that copies the extensions (as in: the files that belong to them) from within the web-extensions images to a dedicated volume.
Please make sure that the line EXTENSIONS=:web_extensions/extensions.yml within the .env files is uncommented for this to work (the extensions.yml defines the named volume).
As a result you should see some web extensions in the web ui. For example the draw-io editor in the + New file menu above the file list.

I can see this in Opencloud. But I can't create a new file, I keep getting errors. Everything that has to do with Office works great.

Could you please open an issue via https://github.com/opencloud-eu/web/issues/ and share at least the content of the browser console (dev tools)? The clarification-ping-pong for tracking down that issue goes beyond what discussions are for. 😇
