Hi @peterdudfield I always held a strong curiosity for clean energy, in particular, I hold a weird obsession over batteries. Sometimes, I wish I choose to become a chemical engineer and research at some of my favourite companies like BYD and CATL. Although my major is computer engineering, your projects present a perfect opportunity for me combine my interests and find a bridge between AI and climate science. This will be my first time applying for GSOC, and I hope to be given the opportunity to contribute to our world - which can be awfully disappointing at times. No matter how small the impact seems, I am eager to make a positive difference and learn from the more experienced mentors of this field. |

Hello @peterdudfield and hoping this message finds you all well. This is Dania, and I wanted to reach out to express my heartfelt interest in joining your incredible team at GSOC. While this message may come a bit later than I hoped I recently completed a three-month training in app development and I’ve been deeply inspired by your projects particularly Quartz Solar: New Data Source in ML Model and Solar Forecast with TZ-SAM: Create Forecasts for Sites or a Grid (Country) Based on Transition Zero's Solar Asset Mapper. These initiatives resonate deeply with me because I have always been passionate about using innovation to combat climate change, this is a cause that’s been close to my heart since I was young. The opportunity to collaborate with a team that is actively working to solve some of the world's most pressing issues is a dream come true. With warmest regards, |
