Is there a way to turn off the preprint option in templates like arxiv_two_column

Is there a way I can generate a camera-ready version of arxiv_two_column template without the preprint text and margin lines?

Hi @indranilrc, each template has it's own set of options, for example in the arxiv_two_column template the options are defined here: https://github.com/myst-templates/arxiv_two_column/blob/aa9483098980d02a0d86be1fee2e1f6a77e69a51/template.yml#L39

The options there very limited but could be extended.

These options, when included in your myst export frontmatter at build time, are exposed to the template in template.tex via a jinja variable like so: https://github.com/myst-templates/arxiv_two_column/blob/aa9483098980d02a0d86be1fee2e1f6a77e69a51/template.tex#L111

An option could be added pretty easily to turn off line numbers for example by wrapping this line in an if statement https://github.com/myst-templates/arxiv_two_column/blob/aa9483098980d02a0d86be1fee2e1f6a77e69a51/template.tex#L14

For the preprint text and margin lines, that will mean updating the preprint.sty here for the preprint text \lhead{\scshape Preprint -- \@title} and here https://github.com/myst-templates/arxiv_two_column/blob/aa9483098980d02a0d86be1fee2e1f6a77e69a51/preprint.sty#L45 for the margin ticks.

I think that the jinja variables would be directly available in the .sty file too.

If you'd like to take those changes on, I think others would also benefit from that and we'd be happy to review a PR and get the change out. If that seems too much for you, note that you can clone the template and point your myst.yml to a local folder, then hack away on that to make your build work.
