Hello,

I've recently implemented an MCP server on top of the MCP Java SDK with the following capabilities:

• Declarative assembly from capability (prompt, resource, tool) providers using Java Services¹ - prompts, resources and tools can be added to the server by adding a dependency to pom.xml
• One CLI supports both SSE and STDIO transports using sse and stdio sub-commands of the mcp-server command
• Generated documentation for capabilities as part of the mcp-server command documentation - see the link above
• Telemetry collection for troubleshooting etc. - see slides 17+ in the Observability presentation

There is also client telemetry support. I tested the server with Java client and with Cline with the SSE transport - it was easier. STDIO transport was tested only very lightly.
