It's an interesting idea! It was before my time but I believe the Spike bridge was built with some clever reverse-engineering and underlying knowledge of the Spike protocols, by people much smarter than me. I'm not aware of anybody attempting to do the same on JJP machines, but if somebody can hack into the JJP communication protocol and interact with the switches/coils/lights, it would be straightforward to implement it as a platform in MPF. |

Has anyone made any progress on using Mission Pinball with Jersey Jack machines (Wizard of Oz, Willy Wonka, Pirates, etc.)? These machines run on Linux. Seems like it might be possible to install something similar to the MPF SPIKE Bridge on Jersey Jack machines, though it also seems like it would be even better and easier to simply install MPF onto the Linux computer already inside the machine so everything (sound) works immediately.
