I need to send some dynamic data in response for mocking

I need to split the data variable from the request body and send it in response

Eg
Request:-
{data:"DATA1^DATA2"}

Response:-
{data:"DATA2"}

My solution Not working
{{ request.body/data.split("\^")[1] }}

but
{{ request.body }}
is sending me "DATA1^DATA2"

can anyone please help
