• Presentation XML: Footnotes refactor, Footnote support firelight#68
• Do not overwrite Semantic XML content in Presentation XML isodoc#610 (comment) : bibitem will henceforth contain all Semantic XML child nodes in Presentation XML; hitherto Presentation XML contained biblio-tag and formattedref (the only elements to be rendered), along with a subset of Semantic XML child nodes that PDF required for further checking. For example, bibitem/contributor is no longer stripped out in Presentation XML. It remains the case that only biblio-tag and formattedref are to be rendered. There is no schema change, since the schema allowed all such Semantic XML elements already as optional elements.

The ACTUAL change log is going to be posted as part of the release log on https://github.com/orgs/metanorma/discussions/6, and it is going to be based on the drafts posted here.

I documented this on https://github.com/orgs/metanorma/discussions/11:

When the change proposal is stabilised and signed off as above, it is added to a draft change log, which external consumers can draw from. External consumers are free to work from the tickets about the change beforehand, again with the proviso that the proposal is subject to change if the maintainer and integrated consumers find it necessary.

That draft change log will be a discussion topic here.

When a code release is made, the change log for releases as is currently the case will link to tickets, and describe changes in client-facing language. The change log for releases will now have a separate section for schema changes, copied from the draft, and again linking to tickets.
