drag & drop from browser downloads webpage (.html) instead of creating a .desktop

Well, pretty sure this was asked sometme already, but i can't find it.

I just started using Nemo and wanted to create a shortcut to a website by dragging the urlbar. That it downloadd the webpage instead was unexpected, because the major Linux desktop environments as well as Windows, all create a .desktop (repective .URL) shortcut.

I think this should at least be configurable and best set to shortcut as default. If it is already, i apologize for not finding it.

If I drag an URL from the firefox urlbar it creates a symlink.
That seems to be a desktop file. This is how it shows the preview.
When I open it in xed it is an HTML file.
This is strange.
At double click, however, the browser opens and shows the page.

Oh, right. in my case it's a html (the content) that's named '.desktop' and marked as if it's a symlink. Nemo recognizes it as .desktop.
