Oh, right. in my case it's a html (the content) that's named '.desktop' and marked as if it's a symlink. Nemo recognizes it as .desktop. Result of In Nemo: Locale is german. |

Well, pretty sure this was asked sometme already, but i can't find it.
I just started using Nemo and wanted to create a shortcut to a website by dragging the urlbar. That it downloadd the webpage instead was unexpected, because the major Linux desktop environments as well as Windows, all create a .desktop (repective .URL) shortcut.
I think this should at least be configurable and best set to shortcut as default. If it is already, i apologize for not finding it.
