This week’s releases delivered expanded AI mentor memory, deeper customization in analytics tracking, department-aware configurations, and critical backend tooling for agent infrastructure. Here’s what's new:

🧠 AI + Mentor Enhancements

• AI User Profiles in Memory Prompts: System prompts for mentors now include appended user profile memory, improving contextual accuracy in AI responses.
• Department-Aware Mentor Settings: Mentor settings endpoints now support department assignments and a disable_chat_history flag, allowing scoped mentor deployment and enhanced privacy.
• Agent Switching & MCP Tools: Introduced the LCBaseAgentRunner and LCAIAgent classes to dynamically switch mentor behavior between LCAiAgent and LCAiMentor based on tool availability. MCP (Mentor Control Panel) models and tools added for managing agent flows across environments.
• Moderation & Safety Controls: Added enablemoderation and enablesafety_system fields to mentor configs for runtime toggling of safety layers.
• File Upload Support: Mentor templates and views now accept multipart uploads to support file-based training resources directly from the UI.
• Langfuse Custom Callback: Implemented sync_to_async wrappers for Langfuse callbacks, enabling real-time tracking of embeddings, chat events, and cost attribution.

💻 Frontend Improvements

Mentor SPA

• Guided prompts are now rendered for anonymous users, not just authenticated ones.
• AI responses now render full output when stream end and final message arrive simultaneously.
• Updated styling logic for tenant-based overrides.

Skills SPA

• Optimized notifications and added extra display timing configuration.
• Made new pathways routes (/assigned, /enrolled) publicly available.
• Updated component dependencies and internal routing consistency.

Analytics SPA

• Added advanced filtering and enhanced metadata handling.
• Introduced program deletion and support for custom domain flags.

Shared Components

• Refined routing and loading behaviors in tabs.
• Enhanced self-enrollment workflows for programs and pathways.

📡 Backend + API Infrastructure

• Extended mentor tracking with mentor_uuid and session tracking via session_uuid in analytics models.
• Added department-level access validation mixins and filtering throughout analytics and credentialing services.
• Released a series of updates in the search app with performance improvements and new UX features.
• Improved platform-level control for mentor listing, template selection, and deployment with seeding tools.
• Enabled blocking of revoked credentials and enhanced group deletion for credential assignments.

📦 Open edX Enhancements

• Updated SSO, LTI, magic link, and request router applications for better login handling and exception management.
• Added support for multipart file uploads in edX endpoints.
• Enhanced compatibility and stability for OAuth and cross-platform session management.

🛠 DevOps + Config Updates

• Added throttle controls and configuration to DM environments (ENABLE_THROTTLE, DEFAULTMAXLINKUSAGE, etc.).
• Made Langfuse toggling configurable with ENABLELANGFUSEFORASGICHAT.
• Updated ASGI service policies and default environment settings for more resilient deployments.
