Ability to create compound units from the Unit Input

In engineering applications, there are often complex combinations of units or specific unit values which are more detailed than the basic dimensional units of length, mass, time, and temperature. A powerful feature would be the ability to combine both standard Intl.NumberFormat supported units as well as custom units to create a compound unit.

As an example, mass or volumetric flow rates measured in kg/s or gallon/hr would be desirable outcomes of a compound unit.
