Inline-mode for datepicker

I think it would be a good feature to be able to disable the forced mask on the datepicker. For powerusers, it feels unnatural to have a mask, since you can do basic text-stuff like selecting all text (CMD + A), easily use backspace etc.

To, my suggestion is to create a mode (maybe inline) that allows a user to write freetext into the datepicker, while still keeping both validation and the calendar-popover.
