Posted at 2018-01-04 by @gfwilliams Hi, Yes, the LTE module should work in the US - there is a version advertised as being specifically for the US: https://www.seeedstudio.com/Wio-LTE-US-Version-4G%2C-Cat.1%2C-GNSS%2C-Espruino-Compatible-p-2957.html You'll need a SIM card, but I can't be any more help about what mobile operators support it - you'd be best off asking Seeed directly using the 'Questions' link on the page above. Assuming your phone's SIM card is the same size you could give that a try though, and if it works then you'd be pretty sure that the carrier in question supports it. |

For the Seeed Wio LTE
https://www.espruino.com/WioLTE
My understanding is that it is an LTE IoT module that can work in the US.
1- Do I need to buy a SIM card for using it with a Mobile operator in US?
2- How can I know whether the mobile operator (AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint) is supporting the LTE IoT?
