How to Remove an Existing Service (e.g., Mailpit) from DDEV

How can I easily remove it if I no longer need a specific service, such as Mailpit, in my DDEV project?

Hi @tomk1v - mailpit is not an additional service, it's part of the web container.

If you want to omit other services like db or ddev-router or ddev-ssh-agent, see omit_containers

If you have services from an add-on, you would use ddev add-on remove <add-on>

Did you already do the suggested actions and temporarily turn off VPN, Proxy, and Virus checkers? It seems you have some system software that is interfering with the use of all ports. And of course, reboot your computer.

You're not using the current stable version of DDEV, v1.24.3, so it would help us if you'd always use latest stable when asking for support. Please upgrade.

I see that you're still using the original mailpit ports:

mailpit-http-port=8025
mailpit-https-port=8026

Please use some different mailpit ports. ddev config global --mailpit-http-port=9123 --mailpit-https-port=9124 maybe. When you have done that, ddev config global should show it, and you should be able to look in ~/.ddev/global_config.yaml and see it.

Also unrelated, you don't seem to have the recommended (script install) setup for mkcert: mkcert-caroot=/home/andriitomkiv/.local/share/mkcert
