Can I use DDEV with self-hosted cloud development tools like Coder or DevPod?

I want to use them because they are tools like Codespaces that are not vendor-locked-in, reduce costs, and do not pollute the local environment, but I am stumped by the domain setup.
Is there any way to get around this?

I haven't heard of anyone doing trying (or even Coder or DevPod).

Take at look at the Codespaces PR: #4476
If I recall, DDEV disables the router for both Codespaces and Gitpod.

You could try making a custom build of DDEV with changes similar to the codespace PR above.
