bbpress integration

This isn’t an issue, as it’s way beyond scope for the awesome bootscore theme. But, I’m trying to integrate bbpress. So far it’s pretty seamless - except for one maddening thing, sidebars.

I’m using sidebar-1 pretty much sitewide. It’s got a few standard sidebars. But that sidebar is not showing up on bbpress pages - even though there is a space for it. Some notes:

• looking at the HTML of the rendered bbpress pages, it’s generally using the standard bootscore theme / child theme pages - page, single.
• examining that HTML I see that the sidebar is getting called and the header and footer (before / after) of the sidebar are getting output. The header and footer of the widgets are not there.
• Tracing as far as I can, I see that the proper widgets are getting called for the sidebar, but nothing is displayed - it’s not hidden, it’s just not there.

Anyone have any luck with bbpress and bootscore? Or seen this problem with other plugins?

Ok, cancel that. I'll blame it on brain fog. But the CSS styles I settled on, after trying a few, had:

body.bbpress #sidebar{
    display: none !important;
}

Yeah, and I missed that.... Covid brain fog. Has to be brain fog.
