BitNav partial route matches

I have some child navigation pages that I would like to manually navigate to, using the NavigationManager. Blazor comes with a NavLink component that allows for partial matches so that nav item would still show it as selected.

In my case that would allow my menu to indicate that the selected parent page is still active, even though I navigated to a child page only available through that route.

Is this possible with the current BitNav?

But what if my additional url contains a route parameter that isn't known until runtime?

Can the additional URL parameter contain wildcard characters or some other partially constructed route?

For example, if I'm looking at a long list of detail items and selecting one navigates to a detail page?

we are adding the Match parameter to both BitNav (general matching approach) and BitNavItems (specific matching approach for each individual item) so you can customize it in any way you want.
the Match can be one of the following:

• Exact (the current approach)
• Prefix
• Regex
• Wildcard
