Great question! Here are a few AI related examples from the past couple of months:

• In May 2025, M365 they introduced two new AI agents: – Copilot “Researcher” for complex multi-source research, and Copilot “Analyst” for data analysis. I've personally found Researcher useful for in-depth reporting based on data on the web and elsewhere.

• At Build 2025, Microsoft unveiled Windows AI Foundry, a new platform enabling advanced AI models to run natively on Windows 11 devices.

• Microsoft’s Azure cloud saw major AI upgrades. They added support for cutting-edge AI models (for example, the “Grok 3” model) to the Azure OpenAI service, and launched a new Azure AI Agent Service that lets developers orchestrate multiple AI agents working together.

• GitHub Copilot – Microsoft’s AI coding assistant – evolved from suggesting code to acting as an autonomous “coding agent”. The latest version can proactively handle software development tasks like reviewing pull requests, generating unit tests, fixing bugs, and even implementing entire features, working on the developer’s behalf even when they’re not actively typing code.
