Unable to select or add GPT4.1 in AI agents

Hi, I am unable to add GPT4.1 models from the agent creation dialogs in Foundry. I have the models deployed within the service but it wouldn't show the GPT4.1 models. Is this a restriction or some issue with the platform?

Hi @arnab621 - thanks for the question, could you provide a screenshot of the process you are working through so we can try to reproduce the issue?

I can use it in playground and also via code/API but not in Agents.

Thanks for your patience, 4.1 is not currently available in Azure AI Agent Service but should land around 5/7 - more info to come on that soon :)

This still doesn't appear to be working. It will create the deployment but then you can't actually select it.

I can't seem to repro - can you share more details on things such as where GPT4.1 is deployed and what deployment type you selected

I am able to:

• Go into an ai.azure.com project
• Create a gpt4.1 model instance
• Go to the Agent tab
• Create an agent
• See all my models listed
• Select 4.1
• (found a 5 min delay on my model activating)
• After 5 mins it worked as expected (see video till end)
