I am happy to announce that the Computational Infrastructure for Geodynamics (CIG) is hosting a community-wide meeting, The Next Generation, in beautiful Breckenridge, Colorado from August 4-7, 2025.
> Meeting Website: https://geodynamics.org/events/details/349
The meeting will open with introductory workshops, including SPECFEM and SPECFEM++. The SPECFEM portion should include some use of adjTomo tools. The week will also feature plenary sessions, posters, breakouts, and discussions on a broad spectrum of topics in computational geodynamics.
Registration is now open. Please consider submitting an abstract and attending, this will be a great opportunity to interact with the CIG community, and have more software-focused discussions within the SPECFEM community, and with other communities who hold similar interests in supporting open-source software.
Feel free to reach out here with any questions!
