Hi, I'd like to contribute to this project

I've always been interested in vedic astrology. I've studied, read and understood it as much as I could during my college days. I'd like this side of my to again be utilized, understand and contribute to this project as I'm a developer now as well. How should I start doing so? Can I connect w/ some of the core people first to understand overall outlook on this better?
