Please help me to build SpeziLLM package.

Description

I am going to build this package SpeziLLM on my end.
At first, I used XCode 16.2 but the swift version error is happening. So I installed XCode 15.0 and tried again.
This error is happening. error: Dependencies could not be resolved because 'spezifoundation' >= 2.0.0 contains incompatible tools version (6.0.0) and root depends on 'spezifoundation' 2.0.0..<3.0.0.

What macOS version and xcode version should I use to built package?

Please help me.

Can you please edit your post to share a proper description, reproduction, and expected behavior including the Swift error you get and some more information about the errors you are encountering.

You should use the lastest Xcode and macOS version. Our CI is automatically checking everything with these versions.

Please also check if the main branch is building in your project & the Package.

@silverknight59 did you install the command line tools and select the correct xcode installation?

try either/both of the following

• xcode-select --install
• xcode-select -switch /Applications/Xcode.app/

(you might need to sudo it)

Yeah, I am using Xcode 16.2 and installed successfully.

try manually deleting the entire .build folder, rather than using swift package clean

@silverknight59 i was able to reproduce this locally. i'll have a look if i can figure out what exactly the issue is.

in the meantime, i'd recommend you use Xcode to compile Spezi and its modules, since that works fine.

Is there any difference using Xcode or VScode for compiling?

i'd imagine that VSCode probably just uses the swift command line tool under the hood, whereas Xcode does not (it instead uses its own build system)
