This is a simple guide to make sure StackGuardian is successful configured with ServiceNow. And how can we do this? We can trigger a SubFlow run to make sure it's configured successfully. Follow the guide for more

Once you have installed StackGuardian from ServiceNow store and configure the Connections and Credentials, we need to know if the connection is successfully established. So, in order to do that, we can simple run an existing SubFlow.

To run a SubFlow follow the steps:

1. There are few SubFlows already available on ServiceNow. You can copy any SubFlow and either can run it or can update incase any specific requirement is needed.

2. Select any SubFlow you want to work on for example Run New or Existing Workflow. Click on the 3 dots on the top right corner and select Copy subflow from the drop down.

3. Provide a Name to the flow and click Copy.

4. Once created, click on the Test button to run the subflow.

5. Provide the required details.
   1. Organization : Name of the StackGuardian organization, to which you want to connect to. For eg. Wicked-hop
   2. Workflow Group: An already existing Workflow Group in the provided organization.
   3. Workflow: The particular workflow you want to rerun
   4. Create Workflow Payload: This field can have the details of terraform action or any payload that can be provided from the StackGuardian platform. As this is just an example to test the connection, and we are just rerunning the existing workflow, we can keep it blank with just a pair of curly braces {}.
   5. check the Wait For Completion so that when the SubFlow is running, it will wait till the workflow is completed and then move on to the other steps of the flow.
   6. Click Run Test
   7. Once completed, a link will appear on the same page Your test has finished running. View the subflow execution details. Once clicked it will navigate to a detailed of the run.
