Feature Codes is now live!

Feature Codes are a new "type" of connection, that offer features to your outbound calls. (We have also remove the hard-coded feature codes that were part of the initial testing, like *65 etc, as these would have interfered with your internal feature codes at some point.)

Feature codes are designed to integrate directly into the existing connection "look-up" code, meaning that as you dial, the system will check your connections with the regular expression test, and match against the most suitable connection. Feature Codes tap directly into this look-up. So when you add a feature as *65, your call will be directed to the feature, should you dial this number.

Whats its for?

For now, the features are limited to just a few test routes. They are useful for testing sound quality, and firewall behaviour. but the idea is that we build these out into features like Conference rooms, Voicemail and AI Agents, etc.

Create a feature Code

Simply go to the Connections page in the Admin Control Panel, and click "Add Feature", like you would add a connection.
