Hello,
Looking at the FORCESOLUTION file, I know that the factor force source is in units of Newtons, but I was wondering what are the units associated with component dir vect source E, N, and Z_up? Are those components unit-less? Should I normalize that vector?
As an example, I have a FORCESOLUTION with a factor force source of 7e10 Newtons, and component dir vect source E, N, and Z_up of 8.34e9, -1.77e10, and -6.72e10. The phase of the synthetics matches quite well with the observed data, but the amplitudes are much larger.
Thanks,
Amanda
