Why was the LED Code disabled?

It was causing the mechanism code to get hung on the command during auto-align and you could no longer use the mechanisms until you restarted the bot. One of these was fixed by switching to an instant command but not for the other.

@VMFortress the robot assets folder was structured incorrectly(the robot model and stuff had to be in its own folder called Robot_USSRivets), so I made a push to fix that

Thanks for that! I was doing it manually before that so probably would've been good for me to check that.

This is why it's good to get people testing it!

Added an Advantagescope layout that people can import to automatically have all the 3d stuff set up, saves a bit of work

I am stuck at step 20 / any later setup steps. On advantage scope, I tried to add the elevator mechanism and could not go past the first part of that step. I don't see a tab called AdvantageKit, and it doesn't pop up after I add a mechanism tab.

I am able to control the robot, but only by driving (not sure how to turn or control any other components). In AdvantageScope, the robot is missing these components:
BackLeftSwerveModule
BackLeftWheel
BackRightSwerveModule
BackRightWheel

Well that's good progress. Not sure why those components would be missing.

If you want to test the mechanisms:

• If using Sim GUI:
  • Change the joystick window to use the controller for the second slot (Joystick[1]) instead of the first (Joystick[0])
• If using Driver Station:
• Click the USB looking tab on the left and drag the controller to the second slot from the top instead of the first

The incompatible message is fine, I got that too. Just close out Advantagescope and reopen it if it ever happens again and it should work.

Should be the correct branch or she wouldn't have the model

@VMFortress I think I realized why auto align may not have worked in sim, it was because it used while true when it should have used on true, meaning that it cancels itself. I have a fix for it on the maplesim branch.

Did you re-enable the LED lines when doing it? Those were what was causing it to hang. I didn't have any issues with it outside of that.
