Are any of the previous year codebases public? I'm definitely a big proponent of openness with code but it's not something I'd force upon you all. If you do want to go through with it, I'd recommend some basic house cleaning (clean up extraneous prints and such) and make a nice README to show off the repo. That said, you're free to make it public whenever you believe it's ready or just never at all. |

Something that could be considered (for this release and in the future): To publicize their code, Mechanical Advantage (6328) has a separate public repo that just is daily copies of the full code over to it without the git history. This obfuscates the development history and contributors while still publicizing code. If students would prefer this for privacy or other reasons, this could be considered. |
