Higher Resolution Video Downloads (720p & 1080p)

Has anyone else noticed that YouTube ReVanced only allows video downloads up to 360p? This seems to be the same limitation as non-premium users in the official YouTube app. It would be great if we could download at 720p or 1080p for a better offline viewing experience.

I’m curious—does anyone know if this is a technical limitation or something that could be improved? What do you all think? Would higher-resolution downloads be useful for you?

In app downloading is controlled server side. Use an external downloader app like New Pipe or Seal.
