We are pleased to announce the release of our new custom policies and enhanced approval process.

Custom policies

Torque provides custom Policies that facilitate the creation of OPA-based rules that help you manage your environment and cloud spend. Pre-built AWS and Azure policies come included with Torque, and can be easily added from their GitHub repository.

Optimized approval process

We've upgraded the simple approval flow toggle available for space administrators to a more dynamic approval policy editor. Approval policies are OPA-based custom policies that determine when environment requests require approval. Account admins are now responsible for creating and managing approval policies in the Administration area. Moreover, you have full control over the moderators who can approve environment requests through the new Approval Channels administration page.
