How do I add a new instance from a curseforge modpack code?

My friend gave me a modpack code that looks like this in order to download the mods we are playing: _Gqc7Mp8. How do I get prism to take this modpack code and create a new instance from it like it would any other modpack on curseforge?

Prism can not use modpack codes. it appears to be a internal only curseforge api.
if you wish to sue prism your friend needs to export a modpack zip for you to import.

Hmm, that's disappointing.

When we tried exporting a zip of their profile from the curseforge launcher, we ended up getting some weird behavior. The modpack, a modified Cave Horror Project pack, had 153 mods (base pack has 100 ish mods). The first exported zip ended up getting imported as 53 mods. We retried it, and it imported as 43 mods.

I can't provide exact repro steps, but I can provide samples of the exports that we got if you think that would be useful.

sure, I can take a look at the exported pack and try to see what's up

for reference, I tired the code and exported the pack.zip myself (only extra option from default I checked as the minecraftinstance.json)
Cave Horror Project - CHP1...-v2.0.7.zip
it had 158 mods (5 where 3rd part blocked and had to be installed via the work around, 2 were optional)
prism imported it fine.
