problems encountered while debugging #1148
Description
- loadup-db starting with apps fails because rooms and clos and notecards aren't in directories
- can't compile WINDOW in a LISP.SYSOUT because WFROMDS uses TEXTOBJ record
- LCOM vs DFASL -- try DFASLing as much as we can? having the default change ... should be determined by SAMEDIR
- filebrowser compile shouldn't try to BCOMPL a .lisp file or a tedit file -- should be smarter
- I am trying to check the \MAPMDS reported problem. I started in Lisp.sysout loaded LLDATATYPE prop and walking through \MAPMDS.
- looking into \MAPMDS not finding anything ... is there a document somewhere that documents the memory layout and these MDSPage variables in \MAPMDS on LLDATATYPE?
