Description of issue

I realize that at Tier 3 support (limited by my OS which is upgraded as far as my system will allow) I should expect little or no support. But the error seems like it might be affecting Tier 1/2 levels too so I post in case they're impacted.

Trying to upgrade yt-dlp results in the following:

% brew upgrade yt-dlp

Trying to upgrade python@3.13 directly gives the same basic error. This seems to be a server side issue that would affect all tier levels but I'm not savvy and knowledgable enough about homebrew to know how to figure this out better.

The output of "brew outdated" for Python shows:

python@3.13 (3.13.5) < 3.13.6

So I do have Python 3.13 and a recent version of it on the system (just not 3.13.6).

EDIT: I see this same kind of error is happening with cmake too so perhaps this is something to do with Tier 3 end of life after all. If that is actually what is happening, I apologize for taking up time/resources with this post.

@G4nda1f, since there's nothing immediately obvious to explain your brew's inability to find formulae that definitely exist, try brew update-reset and see if that fixes things.
