Description of issue

when i update formulaes it will always download sonoma version but i have sequoia can you fix it and tell devs to fix it

You're on an intel processor and we didn't build anything for Intel in the latest macOS release cycle since it was clear it wouldn't be around for long. The bottles are compatible so there is nothing to gain from building more bottles for Intel.

You're getting updates. The binaries work on your system...they were just built on Sonoma. We are not building most things on x86_64 Sequoia, unless there is a reason that requires it (pkgconf, gcc, etc.).

Intel hardware is nearing the end of its support, with this year's macOS being the final release to support x86_64. We will again not be building most things on x86_64 hardware, as our support begins to wind down. Anaconda announced something similar recently.
