How to configure Wix and Squirrel to only install .exe (Electron JS)

I am building an Electron application where the actual app size is only 168MB. The wix installer installs a bunch of other files which aren’t necessary going up to about 500MB in total size. How to solve this issue by tinkering and configuring wix.
