Chums Non Roman Alphabet /multilingual

I was testing out Chums and we in our church work in English and Chinese for every service but when i pasted in the Chinese characters they disappeared when saving. Hoping that this can be changed.

It looks like we're currently supporting utf8 which covers most non-latin characters, but we need that change that to utf8_mb4 instead to support extended Chinese/Japanese/Korean. The DB fields are already utf8_mb4 so it must be the MySql library or something not supporting it.
I'll try to track down where in the process it's getting lost.

We try not to do production deploys close to Sunday. This fix will be in the Monday morning deploy.
