It looks like we're currently supporting utf8 which covers most non-latin characters, but we need that change that to utf8_mb4 instead to support extended Chinese/Japanese/Korean. The DB fields are already utf8_mb4 so it must be the MySql library or something not supporting it. |

This is fixed on staging. ChurchApps/ApiHelper@fb4a187 We try not to do production deploys close to Sunday. This fix will be in the Monday morning deploy. |

I was testing out Chums and we in our church work in English and Chinese for every service but when i pasted in the Chinese characters they disappeared when saving. Hoping that this can be changed.
