@n00b69 was the one who was working on getting Atlas working on their device, they might know more. |

It is basically installed the same way as on non-ARM64 devices, but Windows 10 is entirely unsupported. Windows 10 builds for ARM64 do not support x64 emulation, and the only ones that do, are insider preview builds that aren't compatible with AtlasOS (even when bypassing the build requirement, it simply won't install) |

windows 10 bricked my BF's older tablet called an "all-do-cube" that had android and windows on it dual boot. when it bricked, it never worked again even to get to the bios screen.. yay Updates meaning loss of functionality & hardware....
We only have 1 android tablet left right now without windows on it. We want access to some of the steam games and windows programs we are used to with windows that an android tablet cant do.
So im wanting to put Atlas OS on a new tablet, over an existing windows 10 or 11.
Surface pro 9 is a focus for my family, as it can be purchased with 64 GB of ram. and i heard other surface pro's work with atlas os just no word on version 9???
Im hoping we can get a 9 with at least 1tb (maybe 2?) of NVMe.2 for storage? hope that's a thing...
A high resolution is more important than dpi for us as we are ageing and eyesight for small things, is poor. so at least 7, 9, or 12 inch, or even larger tablets are fine, so long as there is a lot of ram, storage, and processing for game related tasks. Does Nvidia even make chips for tablets?? 30fps to keep heat down is acceptable. a 2 hour battery life is all we need, we keep chargers close at hand.
My mates fingers are lil sausages so using touch is difficult on super dense screens. DPI is not a concern as much as resolutions, especially rez's that fit some standard screen ratio around 1800x1200 or maybe 2048 × 1556 (a 2k example).
Other tablets with a lot of ram are also acceptable, ones with a keyboard not permanently attached are preferable.
But above alllll else above. Atlas OS needs to run on it..
So, TLDR:
What Tablets can accept an Atlas OS OS overwrite?
& How is it installed with a tablet?
interested in the communities thoughts. Thanks! 🐰
