Error installing in Boxes VM #49

Trying to install AerynOS to follow the projects progress more closely, but get the following message no matter what I do. This is in a VM with 4 GB of RAM and 50 GB of storage selected Generic Linux 2024 to select UEFI. Not that I'd expect it to make any difference, but I have tried with both Cosmic and Gnome. Internet is connected as I am posting this from a live session.

Did you partition the disk before running the installer? It should be printing an info message about that.. |

I did not. I was just following the steps in the installer. That makes sense. Is there a particular partition configuaration that is needed for AerynOS to work optimally? |

Thank you! That did the trick. (Now I just need to determine why Boxes is displaying the VM in a small window despite the setting being for full resolution.) (Had I started the install through the terminal rather than the Installer I would have seen the partition message.) |
