Should add safeguard to prevent moss from eating your current operating system

Would it be possible to make moss detect if its not running on a serpent-os host and in that case and make -D mandatory?

Happy to try patching moss with this if there is an official way to detect if the current system is serpent-os

Sounds like a good idea to me. Can probably read $root/etc/lsb-release for this.
