Why no one is using ROS2 ?

Hello, Thanks for your work.

I'm a beginner, I've been looking around for all VIO packages in the last two months for my internship and besides from OpenVINS and SaDVIO I didn't find anyone using ROS2 everyone is still using Noetic, Melodic... .

Is there a specific reason why even new VIO package like yours are stilling using old ROS Distros ?

*Using a ROS2 is a must for my internship I can't downgrade
