Configure tile cache/mirror

Hello,

we are using mod_tile and Tirex as renderer. Is it possible to configure something like a mirror/cache where all rendered files will be transferred/downloaded to, so we can off-load some caching/requests to another server (meaning d.tile.domain.tld, e.tile.domain.tld)? The mirror would then only serve files which are available.
