How to convert from tarball install to git based install

In response to Robs question on discussion #165

Assuming you have installed to the standard location of /opt/ona you should be able to follow these steps. I do recommend doing appropriate backups or snapshots of your system as you see fit.

• mv /opt/ona /opt/ona.orig # this just serves as a simple backup just in case.
• cd /opt
• git clone https://github.com/opennetadmin/ona.git
• cp -r /opt/ona.orig/www/local /opt/ona/www/local
• cp -r /opt/ona.orig/etc /opt/ona/etc
• cp -r /opt/ona.orig/bin /opt/ona/bin
• cp -r /opt/ona.orig/cfg_archive_local /opt/ona/cfg_archive_local

At this point you should have a functional github based install. It is probably wise to run the /opt/ona/install/installcli.php command to make sure any upgrades steps are processed if needed.

Now, I am speaking this from memory so it could be missing a few details, but we can update that if needed. If this goes sideways you can simply move the /opt/ona.orig back into place.
