Misc. details sidebar rendering issues #125

@mccalluc

Description

@mccalluc

These are in the same area of the screen, so perhaps they can be fixed together, or maybe you'd prefer to make some their own issue. Your call.

If you already have a fix in the works, sorry for the bother. I don't need to be looped in on discussions about solutions, and I don't need to review PRs. (I would really prefer not to be included as a reviewer unless there's something you really need from me.)

  • Sidebar title truncated unless window is very tall

Only when I zoom out can you see the "Summary statistics of frequency histograms of emoji usage per locale"

  • "View on GitHub" button not visible on desktop mode. It only appears when the window is narrowed.

  • "View on GitHub" could be a link styled as a button. Plain <a>, styled as a button, is less code, and the user can see on hover where the link will go, or can copy the link, etc. Lots of improved functionality just by making it simpler.

  • Big gap in details modal on mobile: Half the pane is empty.

  • Desktop-only warning appears to desktop users: I'm on desktop, with a reasonably sized window, and getting a message that would only look like a bug to a first-time user.

  • dp_flavor.name not rendered. (On this particular record, I git-blamed and the value has been there since July 25 in the data repo.)
